Modificare la lista dei repository
Da terminale (potete aprirlo da applicazioni/accessori/terminale) dovete digitare:
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
Vi comparirà un documento con dei repository di questo tipo (ovviamente più lungo):
##Add cooments (##) in front of any line to remove it from being checked.
##Use the following sources.list at your own risk.
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu feisty main restricted universe multiverse
deb-src http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu feisty main restricted universe multiverse
Per aggiungere un repository date uno spazio dall’ultima riga e date al repo un nome a vostro piacere commentato con un cancelletto, al di sotto di esso aggiungere l’indirizzo:

deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu feisty main restricted universe multiverse
deb-src http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu feisty main restricted universe multiverse

deb http://indirizzo.di.esempio/ubuntu feisty
Salvate e chiudete. Una volta aggiunto un repository bisogna aggiungere una chiave che lo convalida, per far ciò dovete seguire le istruzioni date da chi mantiene il repo.
